Support the Executive in the management of AZCAR by managing and directing AZCAR Project Managers in providing effective and efficient professional service to our Clients, AZCAR Management and the Project Teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build long-term relationships with clients;
  • Lead and ensure the execution and profitability of all projects;
  • Develop and expand the project management team;
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of AZCAR project management processes;
  • Ensure completion of deliverables and adherence to the scope of work, timelines and budgets;
  • Analyze project risk and resolve issues;
  • Travel, as required for off-site projects;
  • Serve as the primary Project Manager for identified target customers;
  • Participate with Business Development in the preparation of successful proposals;
  • Establish and manage policy and procedure guidelines;
  • Recruit project management staff and conduct performance and salary reviews;
  • Organize, coordinate and participate in ongoing skill based training and personal development;
  • Assist the Executive in the development and management of Project Management;
  • Participation and support the AZCAR Joint Health and Safety Committee;
  • Help develop, prepare, maintain and submit management reports (project reports, time recording, escalations);
  • Identify new business opportunities;

MANAGEMENT REPORTING
The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with regard to:

  • Annual Project Management Budgets related to salary, benefits, pension, training, bonus, and recruitment and employee relation’s activities;
  • Vacation, absenteeism and turnover of the department; KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 10 years experience with excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • PMP Designation;
  • University degree or Community College diploma and/or a combination of equivalent training, education and experience;
  • Demonstrated supervisory, negotiation, coaching and counseling skills.

Salary is negotiable.
